Happy Skittle

A big thank you to the lovely boyfriend for taking this picture for me! :-)

Skittles! Pretty much the easiest form of 'nail art'. This time I went for a bright and funky color scheme with four (once again) Essence polishes:

Let's Get Lost
Viva La Green
Lime Up!
Ultimate Pink

I just love these Colour&Go polishes! Their formula is just perfect most of the times, they cover in two coats and yes, they're small, but also very cheap (€1,29 for 5ml/0.16 fl.oz.) so you won't have to hesitate on buying a back-up of your favorite shade.

I didn't know pretty nails could affect my mood so much, but looking at today's mani just made my day over and over again, haha. I'm such a dork. :-P
Thanks for reading, guys!

  18. These colors look so good together! And I know what you mean about manicures making you happy. When I'm wearing one of my favorite colors on my nails, I get happy when I see them. I get sad when they chip though...lol.

  20. How funny! After turning my 3 year old daughter's and my toes into a "rainbow" last nite I decided to do my nails the same way! Pretty similar colors but we had a lilac purple in there also. Didn't know there was a name for the "rainbow" lol was just glad she sat still long enuff for me to paint hers lol
Loving the photos & tips on your site! Keep up the good work! o0o yea i have a question. what is average shelf life of polishes? is there any thing you can add to thin it out that won't affect the quality? i hope if u comment back this will notify me someway! thanks again!

    1. Ahww, that's so cute! I don't have a daughter but hopefully my little cousin wants her nails painted by me when she's older.
And about the shelf life of polishes, they can basically be used your whole life I believe. Because, yes, nail polish thinner excists! ;-) If you thin out thick polish every now and then it stays perfect, so don't throw them out!:)
